Fort Worth ISD bracing for a round of layoffs
In a message to employees on Monday, Superintendent Dr. Angelica Ramsey blamed a decline in enrollment numbers combined with fewer federal dollars along with public school financing from the state. Ramsey didn't say how many employees could be impacted but that they would be informed by the end of the week. Tuesday night, the school board will take up a reduction in force resolution.
