Data shows more Americans prefer marijuana over alcohol
According to 2022 data from the U.S. National Survey on Drug Use and Health, 17.7 million people reported using cannabis daily, compared to 14.7 million daily drinkers. Three decades ago, there were nearly 9 million people who reported drinking daily and only 1 million who reported smoking pot each day.
