Manziel Benched For Reportedly Lying To Coaches

CLEVELAND (CBS11) - New information about the Cleveland Browns' decision to bench quarterback Johnny Manziel.
Turns out Manziel is said to have lied to his coaches about when a video showing him partying was recorded.
He reportedly asked friends to lie, too.
The video shows Manziel drinking and partying at an Austin bar during the team's bye week.
But multiple reports Thursday say Manziel told his coaches it was an old video and asked friends to back his story.
Manziel, who had just won the starting quarterback job, is now the third-string QB.
