DALLAS (CBSDFW.COM) – Police are searching for two suspects who kidnapped a woman at gunpoint and forced her to withdraw money from multiple ATMs before dumping her at another location.

The victim was approached by the suspects at 12:35 a.m. Sunday after she parked her 2010 Honda Civic at her apartment in the 9000 block of Vantage Point Dr.

She reportedly was forced at gun point into the backseat of her car and driven to the ATM at the Bank of America on Forest Ln. and Greenville Ave., where they made her withdraw money. They then traveled to other ATMs in the area.

The woman says she was then taken to a side street of Greenville Ave. where one suspect got out of the vehicle. She told investigators she heard a shot fired before the suspect returned.

They then drove to the 1400 block of South Fitzhugh where the victim was released. She then ran to a nearby house and called the police.

Officers later found the vehicle empty in the 1200 block of Caldwell. Police are following up on leads.
