'Affluenza' Teen And Mother Done In By Pizza Delivery Call

PUERTO VALLARTA (CBSDFW.COM) – Mexican authorities confirmed it was a pizza delivery that ultimately blew the lid off of Ethan Couch and his mother's secret hideout in the heart of Puerta Vallarta.
Authorities moved in when they saw them crossing the street in front of a condominium in the beach resort city.
The pair initially stayed at a high end resort in the tourist zone, but eventually moved into the $350 a month apartment in a neighborhood known as Colonia 5 de Diciembre.
Margarita Rodriguez runs a sandwich shop across from where the teen was hiding. "He would come out routinely to eat here, but he was also quiet," she said.
Rodriguez said none of the locals had any idea that Couch and his mother were wanted by U.S. authorities.
By Tuesday the scene of their arrest was an impromptu attraction for American tourists in Puerta Vallarta familiar with the case.
Theo Wilton from Oregon said "Yeah I am curious," about why he showed up to look at the apartment.
Both Ethan and his mother Tonya are in the custody of Mexican Immigration officials. They're expected back in the U.S. tomorrow.
