Elizabeth Turner-Nichols, president of the American Federation of Government Employees, is a plaintiff in the challenge brought by a group of unions against the Trump administration. On Thursday, U.S. District Court Judge William Alsup in San Francisco ordered six federal agencies to reinstate probationary employees who were fired last month.
