Watch: Boat sinks near Alcatraz in San Francisco Bay; 17 rescued, seach underway for others
A fire onboard a boat caused it to sink in San Francisco Bay near Alcatraz island and 17 passengers were rescued before it went under. The U.S. Coast Guard said 19 were aboard and search and rescue efforts were ongoing as of 4:46 p.m.
