Woman Killed In Hit And Run Motorcycle Accident Near Oakland Bay Bridge Toll Plaza
OAKLAND (CBS SF) -- Police are looking for the driver that hit a woman ejected from her motorcycle on the westbound Interstate Highway 80 in Oakland Thursday evening.
The accident was first called in at 10:48 p.m. just east of the Bay Bridge toll plaza. California Highway Patrol found the woman lying in lanes of traffic.
The rider was thrown from her motorcycle and ended up in lanes of traffic where she was then struck by at least vehicle, according to the police report.
The roadway has been cleared. CHP continues to investigate the incident and asks the public to call the Oakland CHP office at 510-450-3821 if they have any information regarding the collision.
