Watsonville Police Seek Suspect In Saturday Night Hit-And-Run

WATSONVILLE (CBS SF) -- Police in Watsonville are seeking help in tracking down a suspect that intentionally struck a man with his car Saturday night.

Officers responded to a report of a hit and run at Rodriguez and West Front streets at about 10:30 p.m., police said.

When police arrived, they found an injured man lying on the ground in an alley, according to police.

The man, as well as witnesses, told police that a male driver of a white minivan intentionally hit him before fleeing east on West Front Street, police said.

The victim was transported to a hospital to be treated for injuries not considered life threatening, police said.

Police are investigating the crime.
