Water Leak Causes Muni Delays In San Francisco

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Crews from the San Francisco Public Utilities Commission is working to repair a water main break in the city's Glen Park neighborhood Sunday morning that was impacting a San Francisco Municipal Railway Metro line, a spokeswoman said.

The break was reported shortly before 8:30 a.m. in the 300 block of Roanoke Street between Arlington Street and San Jose Avenue, SFPUC spokeswoman Catania Galvan said.

Utilities crews arrived to the scene at about 9 a.m. and are working to determine the cause of the break, she said.

Service has not been disrupted for customers in the residential area, Galvan said.

Westbound San Jose Avenue was closed in the area as crews are at the scene, according to Galvan.

Muni's J-Church line was running shuttles from 30th and Church streets to Geneva and San Jose avenues due to the break, Muni spokesman Paul Rose said.
