Watch: Does One Size Actually Fit All?

The human body comes in all shapes and sizes. We're tall, short, a size 00 and up and that's just how we're built. It's anatomy. Biology. It's just the way humankind is. There is no one size, and there is no one singular mold for the human physiology. There is no one type of woman.

So why do some clothing retailers insist on creating shirts, dresses and skirts that imply otherwise?

As Buzzfeed reports, Brandy Melville's product is largely "One Size Fits Most". Of course, that's an excessively broad, overly simplifying statement, as most of their clothing only fits size 00-2.

Actually, the average American woman wears size 14, with over 72% wearing a size 12 and above.

Seems to go without saying that catering to the under size 2 crowd is probably very bad for business.

Check out the video above and see if you agree.
