United Airlines Flight Makes Emergency Landing At SFO
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) - A United Airlines flight from San Francisco to Seattle was forced to turn around and make an emergency landing shortly after takeoff Friday from San Francisco International Airport.
The pilot of flight 2068 reported a mechanical problem to the tower and landed safely just after 2 p.m., said officials at SFO.
A spokesperson for United said no one aboard the Boeing 757 was hurt, but could not provide details of the problem that sent the flight back to the airport.
The passengers were transferred to another aircraft due to arrive at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport around 6:30 p.m.
