Thunderstorms May Rumble Over Bay Area As Storm Passes Through
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- The Bay Area will have a rare chance of hearing thunder as a storm passes through on Thursday.
KPIX 5 Meteorologist Paul Deanno says residents could hear rumbling as a strong area of low pressure makes a close pass over the Central Valley & Sierra.
There is a small chance of thunderstorms in the higher elevations of the Bay Area, like the North Bay Mountains, near Mount Hamilton and Mount Diablo.
Residents can expect highs in the seventies inland, and highs in the sixties near the Bay Wednesday.
