Suspicious Device Prompts Evacuation In Popular SF Grocery Store
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- A block of San Francisco's Folsom Street was briefly evacuated this morning because of a suspicious package, police said.
The object was reported around 8:30 a.m. in the 1700 block of Folsom Street, police said. A K-9 unit was dispatched to the area.
Around 9:30 a.m., police gave the "all-clear" and the evacuation order was lifted.
Rainbow Grocery is located at 1745 Folsom St. A store employee declined to comment on the evacuation.
