SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS)— San Francisco Police are continuing to try and calm nerves following the March 23rd killings of five people in a home near City College. The chief of police will attend a town hall meeting Tuesday night to answer questions regarding the killings.
Police said the victims at 16 Howth Street in the Ingleside neighborhood, were killed with a blunt instrument.
The town-hall meeting is scheduled for 5:15 p.m. at Wellness Center Auditorium at City College.
The suspect, Binh Thai Luc, 35, has pleaded not guilty and is being held on $25 million bail.
KCBS' Bob Melrose Reports:
Sgt. Michael Andraychak said the meeting is being held to help the community heal.
"This is probably one of the worst mass killings in San Francisco in many years. We're aware of the concerns of the neighborhood and throughout San Francisco," he said.
A motive in the case still has yet to be released.
