SF Mayor Wants Construction Project Slowdown To Ease Super Bowl Traffic
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- San Francisco's mayor wants to put the brakes on construction in the city to help traffic flow a little smoother during Super Bowl 50.
Mayor Ed Lee plans to have construction projects slow down, and "take a breather."
The Central Subway and Transbay Terminal are just a couple of the biggest projects in the city.
SFMTA crews are heeding the mayor's call, and will be working underground or off to the side to ease traffic congestion.
