San Jose police investigating city's fourth homicide of 2025
San Jose police said they are investigating a deadly shooting that happened on Sunday night.
Around 8:45 p.m., police went to the 3500 block of Cas Drive for reports of a shooting that injured one person.
When they arrived, officers did not find anyone but did find evidence that a shooting took place.
Police said that not long after, a man with at least one gunshot wound was dropped off at a hospital. The man later died from his injuries.
San Jose police said they are investigating the circumstances and motive for the shooting. The identity of the victim will be released by the Santa Clara County Coroner's Office once his identity is confirmed and next of kin is identified.
It is the city's fourth homicide.
