ALAMEDA (CBS SF) -- A sailboat capsized near Ballena Isle Marina Sunday afternoon, according to an Alameda fire official.
Fire officials received a call for help shortly before 4 p.m. Sunday regarding a Laser Sailboat that had capsized, according to Alameda Fire Capt. James Colburn.
The boater was able to right the boat themselves, and then capsized again. However, they received assistance from other boaters and were able to get themselves back to Ballena Isle Marina before officials arrived.
No injuries were reported. Conditions were windy Sunday afternoon, Colburn said.
