Pizza Deliveryman Carjacked In San Francisco Bayview

SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) - A pizza deliveryman had his car stolen at gunpoint in San Francisco's Bayview District late Tuesday night, police said.

The carjacking was reported at 10:47 p.m. near Mendell Street and McKinnon Avenue.

The 46-year-old victim had exited his vehicle and approached a house to deliver a pizza when a suspect approached, took out a gun and demanded the victim's keys and other property, according to police.

The victim handed over the keys, his wallet and cellphone to the suspect, who then got into the car, a black 2002 Honda Accord, and drove away, police said.

The suspects, described as men in their early to mid-20s, had not been found as of Wednesday morning, according to police.

Anyone with information about the carjacking was encouraged to call the Police Department's anonymous tip line at (415) 575-4444 or send a tip by text message to TIP411.
