Oakland Theater Named Among Nation's Best For Vegans
OAKLAND (KCBS) – The New Parkway Theater in Oakland has been ranked as one of the best movie theaters nationwide for vegans.
According to the People for the Ethical Treatment of Animals, the hardest thing for vegans seeing a film at the New Parkway is deciding between the multitude of treats on offer.
The menu includes things like an artichoke with white-bean ragout, smoothies and lavender lemonade kombucha.
PETA says the New Parkway is number two in the nation - behind only the Sun Ray Cinema in Jacksonville, Florida.
