Naked Man Arrested For Fatal Assault Outside Tracy Motel
TRACY (CBS SF) -- Police arrested a naked man on suspicion of fatally assaulting a woman at Hacienda Motel in Tracy Saturday night, police said.
Police responded to multiple reports of a nude man assaulting a woman in the office of the Hacienda Motel in the 600 block of West 11th Street.
Upon arrival at the motel, police found two people attempting to subdue the naked man. Police secured the man and found a 62-year-old woman adjacent to the motel office.
The woman was later pronounced dead at Sutter Tracy Community Hospital, according to police.
Police arrested the suspect Stephen Carreiro, 25, of Tracy. He was booked at San Joaquin County Jail.
The fatality remained under investigation, police said.
