Mystery Body Found Floating In San Francisco's Lake Merced
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Firefighters on a training exercise made a grim discovery in San Francisco Saturday afternoon at Lake Merced.
They found a body floating in the north side of the lake, near Harding Park.
The discovery happened around 2:45 p.m. A crowd of bystanders gathered as the fire crew worked to pull the corpse out of the water.
Officials said they believe it is a man's body, but it remains a mystery as to how he died.
