Mechanical Problems Cause 20-Minute Delay For BART Riders
SAN FRANCISCO (CBS SF) -- Bay Area Rapid Transit trains were back on schedule after major delays throughout the system Wednesday morning, according to BART personnel.
Commuters experienced around 20-minute delays system-wide between 8:45 a.m. and 9:45 a.m. due to mechanical problems on an East Bay train which became disabled near the West Oakland station.
The delays had cleared and BART was recovering a short time after 10 a.m.
