Magnitude 3.2 Earthquake Hits Berkeley Area

BERKELEY (CBS SF) -- A 3.2-magnitude earthquake was recorded near Berkeley in Alameda County Tuesday morning, according to the U.S. Geological Survey.

The temblor, which occurred at 1:07 a.m., was centered about 2.5 miles northeast of Berkeley and had a depth of 4.5 miles, according to the USGS.
