Lucy Mirigian, Oldest San Francisco Resident, Dies at 114

SAN FRANCISCO (KPIX) -- Lucy Mirigian, longtime San Franciscan and loyal Giants fan, died Friday at age 114. She was believed to be the city's oldest resident.

Her family tells KPIX that she loved watching the Giants and even threw out a first pitch at a game two years ago.

Mirigian originally came from Armenia to California a century ago. With a zest for living, she enjoyed dozens of cruises and often worked on puzzles while enjoying a glass of wine.

A memorial is currently being planned.
