Google Glass Among List Of Prohibited Items At Comic-Con 2014

SAN DIEGO (CBS SF) -- Comic-Con attendees won't be able to get their geek on completely as organizers have instituted a ban on Google Glass during panel sessions and screenings.

The device that people love to hate (or hate to love) is under a list of prohibited devices during programs. In its official convention policies, have added a new policy specific to Google Glass.

You cannot wear Google Glasses during footage viewing in any program room. If your Google Glasses are prescription, please bring a different pair of glasses to use during these times.

The policy is in line with Comic-Con's rule prohibiting recording of footage during movie and TV panels, which specify that phones, tablets and other devices by turned off and put away during these sessions.

The footage shown in these panels are exclusives brought to us by the studios and networks. Please respect their rights and allow us to continue to show this type of material to our attendees.

There is no rule banning the wearing Glass on the main convention floor, so you can expect to see more of these kinds of videos if Comic-Con is your thing:

Other prohibited items include operational projectile weapons, costume swords that can be drawn, handcarts, rolling luggage, strollers or pets.
