Girl Missing in Redwood City Since Friday Found Safe

REDWOOD CITY (CBS SF) -- Emely Ugalde Miramontes, an 11-year-old girl who ran away from her mother Friday evening in unincorporated Redwood City, has returned home and is safe, San Mateo County Sheriff's Office said in a Twitter post at 4:11 p.m. Sunday.

"Thank you so much to everyone who helped by sharing this post," the Sheriff's Office wrote. "We are incredibly grateful for such a supportive community who really pulls together in times like these."
