Fire At Tesoro Refinery In Concord Contained To 25 Acres

CONCORD (CBS SF) -- A 25-acre vegetation fire has been contained Friday afternoon at the Tesoro Refinery near Concord, Contra Costa County fire officials reported.

The fire was reported at 2:17 p.m. on refinery grounds and contained at 4:15 p.m. No injuries were reported, according to fire spokesman Ryan Bain.

He said the fire has been handed back to the Tesoro fire brigade, which will monitor and extinguish the flames.

The cause of the fire is under investigation.
