Daly City Firehouse Evacuated After Suspicious Package Delivered

DALY CITY (KCBS)— A firehouse in Daly City was evacuated because of a suspicious package they received Monday. A fire and hazardous materials crew have responded to the scene.

Clyde Preston with the North County Fire Authority confirmed that the package was delivered via U.S. Postal Service to the location at 10 Wembley Drive and that as a precaution, the fire station was evacuated.

Crews were out of the administration office at the time of the delivery.
