San Francisco is one of the most pet friendly cities in the United States with inhabitants constantly playing with their canine children all over the city by the bay. Because this area is so urban, however, it's key to know where to find the best places for doggy playtime. From socialization to just burning off energy, the best dog parks in San Francisco promise good times for the whole furry family.

A 35-acre off leash dog park, this adventure awaits in the tony Pacific Heights neighborhood. Most of the time, expect lots of well-heeled residents with little pampered pups playing, but larger athletic breeds have a blast here as well.
