57 Guns Recovered After Man Has Reported Psychotic Breakdown In San Francisco
SAN FRANCISCO (KCBS) -- San Francisco police have recovered 57 guns, including some machine guns after responding to a call about a man having a psychotic breakdown in the city's Cow Hollow neighborhood.
Police say it happened around 7 p.m. on Monday August 28th at a home on Laguna Street.
Witnesses tell police they fled the home because their friend, who was armed, was having a breakdown. They told officers that they heard gunshots as they were leaving.
Police were able to find the suspect, identified as 63-year-old Jack Dane, and detain him. No one was injured.
Police then discovered the large cache of weapons.
He was booked on several gun related charges.
