Gov. Newsom signs bill for Yellow Alerts. Similar to Amber Alerts but for getting out information on fatal Hit and Run drivers. A similar bill back in 2015 was opposed by CHP, saying there would be too many alerts (Amber Alert, Silver Alert, etc) and confuse the system.
