Gov. Newsom signs bill introducing media literacy in California schools
California classrooms will soon be getting a new course subject. Media literacy will be a subject that students learn from kindergarten through 12th grade. Gavin Newsom signed Assembly Bill 873 last night after many young people started trusting social media as their main source of news.
