CSU faculty goes on strike
California State University faculty have hit the picket lines, kicking off a series of one-day strikes slated at several campuses this week. The first demonstration took place today at Cal Poly Pomona. Faculty are fed up with their old contract. They want to see 12 percent raises, and they say the CSU system has the money to provide them without impacting students.
