Wind Advisory In Effect For Thursday
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A high wind advisory is in effect Thursday in the Sacramento Valley, according to the National Weather Service.
Northerly winds with speeds of 20 to 30 mph and gusts to 40 mph are forecast for much of the day Thursday.
The strongest winds are expected to occur between 4 a.m. and 6 p.m. Thursday.
Wednesday's high temperature hit 75 in Sacramento, well above normal for late February, but the rest of the week is expected to be cooler, with highs in the low to mid-60s.
Sunny skies are expected the rest of the work week and into the weekend.
