Victorville Woman Finds Human Ashes In Grocery Store Parking Lot That Nobody Wants

VICTORVILLE (CBS13) — A Victorville woman found a box of human ashes in a grocery store parking lot that nobody seems to want.

Tawni found a box with the remains of Dorothy Mae Moss, who died in 2007. She thought it had been stolen.

But when she started making calls to find the rightful owner, she got an unexpected message from the Moss family pastor.

The family didn't want the ashes.

When she pressed the pastor as to why they didn't want Moss' ashes, he said he didn't know.

Tawni is now searching for someone who wants them.
