Two Prisoners Escape From San Joaquin Honor Farm
SAN JOAQUIN COUNTY (CBS13) - Jail staff discovered early Sunday morning that two inmates had escaped from the San Joaquin County Sheriff's Honor Farm facility.
The inmates, Adam Michael Marchand and Joshua John Anderson, were discovered missing at 5 a.m. during the jail count.
A farmer was approached by Marchand at about 8:30 a.m. in the area of Freedom Road and Mathews Road in French Camp. Marchand reportedly assaulted the man and took his truck, a 1992 blue Ford 350 with California license No. 6N64960.
Marchand, 26, is described as white, 5 feet, 9 inches tall, 200 pounds, with brown hair and blue eyes. He was in jail for domestic violence and parole violations.
Anderson, 31, is also white, 6 feet tall, with brown hair and green eyes. He was in custody for drug and parole violations.
