Water Tower Overflowing To Blame For Flooding On I-80 Through Truckee
TRUCKEE (CBS13) — A water tower overflowing is to blame for flooding along westbound Interstate 80 through Central Truckee on Friday morning.
California Highway Patrol says the flood has since been contained, but a significant amount of water still remains on the freeway.
I-80 remains open, but drivers are being urged to take it very slow.
Exactly what caused the water tower to overflow is unclear.
