Evacuation Lifted For Treasurer's Office
SACRAMENTO (CBS13) -- The California Treasurer's office was briefly evacuated in downtown Sacramento by authorities.
The California Highway Patrol says a threat was called into the office at 915 Capitol Mall, forcing about 100 people to clear out of the building while authorities investigated.
Investigators searched the building for about half an hour before letting people back inside.
The nature of the threat has not been released.
