Three Shot At Sweet 16 Party In Tracy
TRACY (CBS13) – San Joaquin County Sheriff's deputies are searching for the suspect or suspects who opened fire at a Sweet 16 birthday party near Tracy on Saturday night injuring three people.
Deputies were called to a home in the 11700 block of W. Larch Road in Tracy for reports of people refusing to leave a party. On their way to the home, they got another call reporting shots fired at the same location.
Deputies say it looks like some people may have tried to crash the party, were turned away, and that's when the shots rang out.
Two 18-year-olds and one 19-year-old male were shot. One was shot in the stomach. He is in serious condition. The other two had minor injuries.
Deputies say they interviewed several party goers but none saw the suspects. Investigators say they have not ruled out the possibility that the shooting was gang related.
