Dave is joined by Joe Marinucci the President and CEO of the Downtown Cleveland Alliance. They talked about what Cleveland was like before they built their downtown arena and what the effects were afterwards. They discussed the multi BILLION dollar economic boost the city has received and continues to receive. The area is hailed as a cullinary district due to the multiple restaurants that have opened and thrived. The arena truly helped the city of Cleveland

Next Dave was joined by Carol E Schatz the President and CEO of the Downtown Center Business Improvement District in Los Angeles. They talked about what the area was like before the Staples Center was built and not only the economic effect it had on the region but also the cultural effects. They discussed how a building such as the Staples Center isn't just a place for sports, and that it can host a number of events that stimulate growth in a region. Carol speaks with passion and it is a must listen.

Dave wrapped up the show with Jim Rinehart the Economic Development Director for the city of Sacramento. They discussed the possibility of Lake Tahoe hosting the winter Olympics but the arena situation in Sacramento is playing a heavy factor in the decision. Should the Arena get built, Sacramento would host several of the Olympic sports in the new arena such as Figure Skating, Ice Hockey, and everyone's favorite Curling.
