Suspicious Device Found Near Capitol

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - A shelter-in-place order was issued for the capitol after someone discovered a suspicious device near the north entrance of the capitol on Thursday.

CHP officers closed off L Street between 10-12th streets, and 13th Street between K-L streets as bomb squad officers investigated.

Offices on the north side of the building were temporarily evacuated.
