UDPATE: Cops ID DUI Driver Accused Of Hitting Fire Truck

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) - Police have released the identity of a suspected DUI driver who was arrested Saturday evening after hitting a fire truck with his vehicle

David Hawley, 29, was arrested and taken to a nearby hospital to be treated for injuries he sustained after he crashed into multiple vehicles -- one of them a fire truck.

Police responded to the 2100 block of J Street just before midnight to help firefighters with Hawley, who allegedly accelerated from a red light, hit a taxi van, sideswiped another car, then slammed into the back of the fire truck.

Hawley then got out of his vehicle and allegedly began to struggle with fire personnel.

The taxi driver suffered unknown injuries.
