Small Fire Forces Around 100 Homes To Evacuate In Vacaville
VACAVILLE (CBS13) – A small fire caused around 100 homes to evacuate on Saturday, the Vacaville Police Department said.
A 5-acre blaze that sparked in the afternoon is burning in the area between Vine Street and Markham Avenue, in the northern part of the city.
As of around 6:10 p.m., officials said forward progress of the fire was stopped. No homes were damaged.
No injuries were reported.
The cause of the fire is unknown at this time.
