Sacramento Streets Flood As Heavy Rains Combine With Leaves To Clog Drains

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) — A strong band of storms rolled through the Sacramento area, causing localized flooding in certain areas.

Wednesday's storm brought heavy rain and wind, which blew even more foliage off of trees. The heavy rain sent the leaves toward storm drains, causing the streets to flood.

A flash flood warning has been issued for Sacramento, El Dorado and Placer counties until 8 p.m.
