Sacramento Police Investigating Florin Road Homicide

SACRAMENTO (CBS13) --  Sacramento police officers have apprehended the suspect in a fatal shooting on Florin Road near Kennedy High School.

The incident was reported around 12:31 Saturday afternoon. Sacramento police arrived to find a the victim, an adult  male, unresponsive on the ground.

The officers immediately began life-saving efforts. Sacramento Fire Department personnel arrived shorty thereafter and pronounced the victim dead at the scene.

Witnesses told police the suspected shooter, described as another adult male, fled into the Roundtree Condos near the scene of the crime, where a perimeter has been established.
