Roseville Girl Reportedly Attacked On Walk To School

ROSEVILLE (CBS) -- An intermediate school girl reported being grabbed by a man while she was walking to school Thursday morning, according to Rosevile police.

The girl said that at about 8:45 a.m., she was walking to Eich Intermediate School on the dirt trail that runs along Linda Creek in the open-space area between Rocky Ridge Drive and the school on Sierra Gardens Drive.

The girl ran to school and reported the incident to school officials. She had some bruising on her throat but otherwise was not injured, according to police.

The suspect is described as white male adult who was wearing a black visor, black shirt and black shorts with white stripes. The student reported that she had seen the man jogging in the area before the attack.
