Police: Dog Found Raped, Hanging From Tree
THURSTON COUNTY, WASHINGTON (CSB13) — Investigators in Washington are searching for suspects who they say raped a dog and left her hanging from a tree.
A mountain biker found the pit bull hanging from a tree in Thurston County on Monday. Investigators say the dog was hanged from the tree with her feet barely touching the ground. Evidence points to a severe sexual assault while she was restrained.
The FBI is involved in the investigation, since the dog was found on Department of Natural Resources Property.
The Humane Society is offering a $5,000 reward.
