One Person Injured In Stockton Daytime Gunfight
STOCKTON (CBS13) — Shots were exchanged in the middle of a Stockton street in the broad daylight on Tuesday and one man was shot, according to police.
The shooting occurred near an elementary school at Van Buren Street and Harding Way. One 19-year-old man was struck but his injuries were described as non-life-threatening.
A parked vehicle and nearby home were struck by gunfire too, but no one was reportedly hurt. The El Dorado Elementary School was placed on lockdown for a time, but that has since been lifted.
The name of the shooting victim hasn't been released, nor have any suspects been identified.
