Nintendo released a first look at its new console, the Nintendo Switch on Thursday.

The console is a blend between a home console and a handheld console.

The preview trailer shows off the features of the new console, including the long-rumored cartridge-based game system, the portability of the console, and the way its controller can split apart into different forms.

Nintendo says with the Joy-Con controller, players can be split apart to allow two-player play, or kept together for one person.

The tablet features a kickstand that allows you to set the screen down while playing on a separate controller.

No price was announced, but the console is expected to launch in March of 2017.

Oh and there's also portable Skyrim, which will probably keep bathrooms busier longer than usual.

UPDATE: Nvidia announced it is behind the graphics of the Switch, though didn't give any indication of the power behind it, aside from saying it's based on the same technology as the company's GeForce gaming graphics cards.

Nintendo had been using AMD for its graphics hardware in its consoles dating back to the GameCube, including its current console, the Wii U.
